Manage Users
Add User, Edit a User or Import a list of Users into Spendgo. By uploading the required information in CSV format, you can import user settings, SMS schedule limitations, and store permissions. You can also use this operation to update users, using their email as the unique identifier.
Things to Know
You must be a Dashboard Admin user to manage the Dashboard users.
When opening a Downloaded CSV Report file of your users from the Dashboard in Excel, it's often better to import the data rather than directly opening the file. This allows you to specify the correct encoding (UTF-8) and delimiter settings.
Be cautious when saving CSV files from Excel, as it may change the encoding to a non-UTF-8 format. If possible, use "Save As" and explicitly choose "CSV UTF-8 (Comma delimited) (*.csv)". Excel may sometimes reformat your file during the saving process, so it's advisable to check your .csv file in a text reader to verify that the rows intended for import are properly formatted. If certain rows fail to import, it could be due to either corrupt data or incorrectly formatted rows.
When importing users, they can only be given permissions to stores with an “open” status.
