SMS Send Limits for Franchise Users (LSM Accounts)

The Send Limits feature lets Admins control how many SMS campaigns a Franchise User can schedule to send per day, week, or month. These limits are based on the number of campaigns scheduled to send, not the number of messages delivered.

For example, if a user creates a campaign today but schedules it to send next week, that campaign counts toward next week’s limits—not today’s.

How Send Limits Work

When creating or editing a Franchise User, you can set the following limits:

  • Send Limit Per Day – The maximum number of SMS messages a user can schedule in a single calendar day.

  • Send Limit Per Week – The maximum number of SMS messages a user can schedule from Sunday to Saturday.

  • Send Limit Per Month – The maximum number of SMS messages a user can schedule in a calendar month.

If all limit fields are left blank, the system will apply a default limit of one message per day, which also applies to the week and month limits.

Things to Know

  • Send limits only apply to Franchise Users using the LSM feature.

  • These limits do not apply to brand-level users or accounts without LSM enabled.

  • To allow unlimited sends, enter sufficiently high values for each field to exceed expected usage.


Manage Send Limits

Admins can update send limits at any time by editing the user.

  1. Go to Settings / Users in the Dashboard.

  2. Click Edit on the Franchise User you want to update.

  3. Enter values in the Send Limit Per Day, Week, or Month fields.
    Note: When not all limit fields are filled in, updated limits may not appear in the User Settings table view. However, the correct values are saved and will display in the Edit User screen. To avoid confusion, we recommend always entering a value for all time periods when updating Send Limits.

  4. Click Save to apply changes.
